Ce cere programa
Programa BAC la limba străină trece la sintaxă tema „Sequence of Tenses. Reported Speech.”.
Vorbirea directă repetă cuvintele exacte, între ghilimele: Ana said, "I am tired." Vorbirea indirectă redă conținutul: Ana said (that) she was tired. Fraza are două părți: propoziția introductivă (reporting clause: Ana said) și propoziția raportată (reported clause). That poate lipsi.
| Direct | Reported (după said) |
|---|
| Present Simple: "I live in Bălți." | Past Simple: he said he lived in Bălți |
| Present Continuous: "I'm working." | Past Continuous: she said she was working |
| Present Perfect: "I have finished." | Past Perfect: he said he had finished |
| Past Simple: "I lost my keys." | Past Perfect: she said she had lost her keys |
| Past Continuous: "I was sleeping." | Past Perfect Continuous: he said he had been sleeping |
| Past Perfect | rămâne Past Perfect |
| will, can | would, could |
| may (posibilitate) | might |
| must (obligație) | de obicei had to |
Could, should, would, might, ought to și used to rămân la fel.
- cuvintele sunt un adevăr general: The teacher said the Moon goes round the Earth.
- relatezi imediat ce s-a spus: Dan said he's waiting outside.
- e vorba de un plan care n-a avut loc încă: Lena said she's starting a new job next month.
- verbul introductiv e la prezent, pentru că mesajul e încă actual: Victor says he is moving to Iași.
Pronume, timp și loc
Pronumele se schimbă după cine vorbește: "I like it," said Tom → Tom said he liked it.
- now → then, here → there, this/these → that/those, today → that day, tonight → that night
- yesterday → the day before, tomorrow → the next day sau the following day, last night → the previous night, a week ago → a week before
Say sau tell
Tell cere persoana căreia i se vorbește: She told me she was busy. Say stă fără persoană sau cu to: She said she was busy, She said goodbye to us. Nu se spune She said me.
Întrebări
- Da/nu: if sau whether, ordinea subiect + verb, fără do/did și fără semnul întrebării: "Are you ready?" → He asked if I was ready.
- Cu cuvânt interogativ: îl păstrezi, iar subiectul stă înaintea verbului: "What are you reading?" → She asked me what I was reading.
I wondered why he was late.
Ordine, rugăminți, sugestii
Un ordin devine to-infinitive: "Close the door!" → He told me to close the door. Un ordin negativ (Don't…!) se redă cu not to: "Don't shout!" → She told us not to shout. La fel se construiesc advise, warn, encourage: The doctor advised me not to run. Suggest are alte tipare: He suggested going to the park sau She suggested that we should leave early.
Alte verbe introductive și gânduri
În eseu, în locul lui said pune verbe mai precise: admit, explain, claim, promise, warn, point out, agree: Some experts claim that online games help teenagers relax. Gândurile se redau la fel: I thought that the test was easy.
